Staccato 2011s are a bit too steep for me in price. So, I have done a lot of research and ended up stuck between these two. The Prodigy: Stupid Affordable Shorter Wait Time (Significantly) Comes with a Red Dot The TAC SAS ii: Better Overall Quality Comes With Optic Plate No Feeding Issues (at least none recorded that I have read)

Keep hearing some issues where buyers have to send back to Springfield but they will likely work that out. Having said that, I have exactly zero issues with my P from day one, and it eats anything I feed it!!!There are 35 states with a city named Springfield. I get first dibs back…lol). My P is so flawless and such a great shooter, I saw no reason to have both. I shoot my pistols and don’t like safe queens, so it was an easy choice. ZERO, absolute zero regrets buying a Prodigy. Learned the 2011 platform on it.

Prodigys in my area have been going for 1350, which is at least 8-900 cheaper than the cheapest staccato. My suggestion is if you won't die from spending the extra $, then save up for a staccato.
